About the department:

The Department of Arabic Language is one of the departments of the College of Education (currently the College of Education for Human Sciences) in Dhi Qar. It was established in the early nineties of the last century. It was one of the most important scientific departments because of the wide horizons of the Arabic language and existing sciences that must be fulfilled in terms of study and research and the sting of Iqbal. Students and researchers studying this branch of knowledge, which witnessed a wide development, and included a group of senior professors in the various disciplines of language and literature.

Vision :

The Department of Arabic Language, as part of the educational institution, is trying to assume its required academic position in comparison to similar educational institutions in the local, regional and global environment. Academic levels in the regional environment.

The department aspires to have its objectives at the level of the sacred language – the language of the Qur’an – which it teaches to its students, and the consequences of its sanctity in providing students with a broad Arabic linguistic culture that contributes to transmitting the human message of the Qur’an across generations.

The department aims to prepare educated cadres who can be relied upon to have the desired effect on the cultural orientations of the society, and to try to change the negative phenomena that conflict with the cultural and scientific progress of our dear country.
